The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova unfolds its activity in the shape of plenary sessions and standing committees. Sittings of Parliament are public, excepting cases in which at the demand of the Chairman of the Parliament, of parliamentary factions or of a group formed by at least 15 percent from the total number of deputies, it is decided, with the vote of the majority of present deputies, that this one should be secret.
Diplomats, mass-media representatives can take part in public sittings of the Parliament, in conditions established by the Standing Bureau.
The activity of the Parliament is reflected in broad- and telecasted emissions, which are transmitted systematically from sittings of the Parliament. The official communiques about the activity of the Parliament are published through the Press Service of the Parliament.
